What a PHENOMENAL day at Area! Congratulations to the Knights band for making 6A Area Finals for the 1st time in the history of the school! We are so proud of the hard work of our Knights! Great Job!

Also THANK YOU to our many volunteers that helped at the AREA marching contest. This was a very memorable moment for our band students and others from across the area. We could not have done this contest without your help.
Since our competition season is over we will NOT have marching band rehearsal on Monday and Tuesday of this week. We will do a 3:30-6:00 pm rehearsal on Thursday. We will briefly run the show, have our senior speeches, and do the Texas required FITNESS gram since our students are receiving PE waivers for the class.
This is the final game of the season for our Knights regular season. After the game on Friday, the Knights band will do an encore Parent Performance. This gives our parents that helped with equipment every game and contest get a chance to see the show from the bleachers. We will then have a brief reception on the field with parents, the time of this will depend on what our Sheriff deputies decide and we will let you know.
The next payment installment of $330 for the Spring Trip is due this week on November 1st.
There is no after school activities for the month of November except for our Winter Concert on Friday, November 30th. There is also the League City Holiday in the Park Parade on December 1st that we will march. All eligible students will attend this performance.
Sign up for Region Orchestra and 9th grade region will be finalized by tomorrow. Please speak with your student about whether they will attend this audition or not. Students in the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble may use either of these to fulfill their requirement for that class per the handbook. The students from those band classes that do not attend will be required to attend the Region Band auditions in December.
