WHAT A DAY!! Wow, the Knights Band really represented well yesterday at the Gulf Coast Classic. The band was very close to winning prelims and placed a solid 2nd in finals. Our program is definitely taking the next steps in our development.
A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU, to our parent volunteers yesterday. From props, to trucks, plumes, water distribution, to those who helped at the contest, the Knights Band parents were a MAJOR part of the student’s success. It’s humbling to the directors to see that all are motivated and determined to see their students succeed.

Notes for Parents and Students
Reminder: No school on Monday October 14th. Band rehearsals this week will be Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-6:30. No game on Friday, please students go home and get some rest for the long day on Saturday as we have UIL and the Homecoming Game.
This is homecoming week. Wednesday is the parade and late night pep rally.
Call time for the pep rally in the band hall has changed to 5 pm. The parade begins at 6:30 pm. The pep rally will be right after in the small stadium at Falls.
Students please bring your water bottles for this event. Please wear your green band dry-fit. There are not requirements for pants/shorts/shoes, other than being school appropriate.
Ending time of the pep rally is approx. 8:30 pm. We will keep you up to date via Remind.
The last contest will be at the Berry Center in Cypress, Tx. It will be an early call time and late return time. More details to follow:
Grades: The Knights Band is proud to announce that our eligibility rate for the 6 weeks was at 99%. The HIGHEST IN SCHOOL HISTORY!! Our goal for the next grade check is 100%. The next grade check is THIS FRIDAY October 18th. Students/parents please look at your SKYWARD accounts DAILY to ensure this happens. We are the Knights Band are VERY committed to your student’s academic success for reasons that extend beyond eligibility for band. We need your help to achieve this HIGHEST GOAL!
