Congratulations to the Knights Band on a very strong performance at Galena Park. The Knights Band placed 1st in the competing bands with having the highest score in one of the marching captions in the entire contest. We got lots of great feedback from the judges we will be utilizing during the week.

The intermediate night last week was AWESOME! All three intermediate school directors contacted Mr. Moreno and said the students had an incredible time. Thank you Knights for showing amazing hospitality to our future Knights!

Notes for Parents and Students
We need 6 more volunteers for the Gulf Coast Contest to work hospitality. We need 1 more for the 2:30-7 pm shift, and 5 more for 7 pm – 11:30 shift. Please contact Kristi Reiser or Mr. Moreno if you are interested.
First round of region tests have been finished and results should be posted by the end of Monday. This chair test is not permanent. We will have 2 more between now and the first week of November. Please stay tuned.
The next payment installment for the Band Fees were Due on Tuesday October 1st. Please refer to your charms account for more details. If you have any problems with your charms account or making your payment, please contact Kristi Reiser or Mr. Moreno.
There is a mistake on the calendar for week after next. There is NO School or band rehearsal for October 14th. We will rehearse on Tuesday Oct. 15th AND Thursday Oct. 17th 3:30-6:30. Wednesday is the homecoming parade, call time 4 pm and pep rally after that. Completion time is TBA. Homecoming festivities DO NOT count for the UIL 8 rule for marching band. **
