UIL Concert and Sight-reading @ Clear Lake HS

Wednesday May 1st, 2019

During 3rd period, those of you who will need to put your instrument in the truck will place them in a designated space for them to be loaded during 6th period.  Any instruments not placed in the designated area will have to be taken on the bus.  You will be excused for 7th period. 

The itinerary is as follows:

• 1:35 Report to band hall
• 2:00 Depart for Clear Lake HS
• 2:30 Arrive at Clear Lake HS, Unload instruments from the truck
• 3:30 Warm up
• 4:00 Performance
• 4:30 Sight read
• 5:00 Load equipment truck
• 5:20 Depart for Clear Falls HS
• 5:50 Arrive at Clear Falls HS

All students must report to the band hall with all needed items (tux/dress, instrument, music, tuner, etc.).  Gentlemen must have a tux shirt with bow tie, long black socks and black shoes (may use band shoes).  Ladies must have black dress shoes(flats are ok). This concert is also open to the public and parents are invited to come to the performances!!   You may bring a change of clothing if you wish to change at Lake.
