Knight Tales:
- What a wonderful first week of school! Well done and our attendance at band and productivity in the band hall after school has been wonderful! Keep it up!
- The word for this week is Commitment.
- Our first grade check was a HUGE success! Please keep encouraging your students to stay on top of their grades and check their Skyward DAILY! Our goal is 100% eligibility. It would the first time in our school’s history if we can accomplish this monumental feat!
Fundraiser Class Competition:
- Congratulations to our Sophomore Class of 2022, the first to reach the fundraising goal to have their names on the trailer!
- Congratulations to all the classes for their contributions which will allow them to be remembered for the next decade or more!
Notes for Parents and Students
- Rehearsals this week will, again, be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-6:00 pm.
- Tomorrow more band equipment that was ordered will be handed out after rehearsal. Please plan on staying a minute or two to collect your items.
- This week is our first football game.
- For the few students performing for the TASB performance, Mr. Moreno will pull you out of class starting tomorrow to discuss the calendar and expectations. Please bring concert instruments (C trumpets) to class.
- Our first contest is Friendswood Marching Festival. The full itinerary will be sent out soon by Mr. Zavalla. Please stay tuned!!

Guard Corner:
- Congratulations to the Guard from Mrs. Clyburn For your progress leading up to your first game! Well Done!
- Some performance gear will be handed out this week.
- Guard will be dressing in costume for adjustments/alterations Monday afternoon and will learn part 3 choreography after field time with the band.
