• The Color Guard rehearsal times are the same time as the band this week!

• Winter Guard calendars will be handed out this week. We need to know about possible conflicts for the winter guard season.

CLEAR FALLS VS. ALVIN

Alvin Memorial Stadium 1300 W. Dumble St. Alvin, TX

Friday October 19th, 2018

• 2:50 pm: Rehearsal at CFHS dressed in non-baggy athletic shorts, dri fit, LONG black socks, and band shoes.
• 3:50 pm: Eat Dinner
• 4:50 pm: Inspection
• 5:15 pm: Depart to Alvin Stadium
• 7:00 pm: Kick off
• 10:00 pm: Game ends (Approx.)
• 11:00 pm: Approx. Arrive back at CFHS. All equipment and uniform parts MUST be put away BEFORE leaving the band hall. All instruments go home.

All uniform components including gloves, water bottle w/name, flip folder w/name, guantlets, sheiko box, AND PONCHO, must be visible and inspection. Students with long hair must have it in a bun or braids for inspection and the entirety of the game/contest. Please see the handbook (pg. 15) for more details regarding the uniform procedures.

UIL MARCHING CONTEST

Challenger Stadium, 1955 W Nasa Blvd, Webster, TX

Saturday October 20th, 2018

• 9:00 am: Rehearsal at CFHS dressed in non-baggy athletic shorts, SHOW SHIRT, long black socks, and band shoes.
• 10:00 am: Release for loading/eat brunch! 11:00 am: Inspection
• 11:15 am: Depart to Challenger Stadium 12:00 pm: Arrive at Challenger
• 12:40 pm: Warm up
• 1:45 pm: Performance
• 2:30 pm: Leave for Falls
• 3:15 pm: Arrive at Falls; students may leave once all equipment is put away

Once we finish marching, we will load up and the director will get the students together to announce our scores before we leave.

In the event of a rain out for UIL the contest will be moved to Tuesday October 23rd schedule will not be made until the decision for rain is final. There is also a possibility for delays due to rain.
