Notes for Parents & Students:

  • Pre-UIL for our Bands is this week.
    • The Concert Band and Symphonic Band are scheduled for Monday, April 15th at Clear Creek HS. Click here for Full Itineraries.
      • Concert Band Call time is 7:00 am and performance at Clear Creek HS is 8:45.
      • Symphonic Band call time is 11:45 am and performance at Clear Creek HS is 11:45 am. Reminder that our driver for the Symphonic Band had to back out, and we are currently slated to be picked up much later at Creek. We will keep you posted!
  • The Wind Ensemble is scheduled for April 18th at Clear Springs High School. Call time is 10:15 am and performance is 1:00 pm. Please bring your own lunch on that day. Click here for Full Itineraries.
  • Full Orchestra UIL is on Tuesday, April 16th at Clear Lake High School!
    Call time is 1:00 pm and performance at Clear Springs HS is 6:45 pm.

  • The Knights Band needs your help! We are assembling a prop committee. We currently have 4 members and would like about 7 more including a prop committee chair. Our marching show next year will need these individuals to help with the production value and our prop committee is vital to the success! If you are interested please contact Mr. Zavalla at rzavalla@ccisd.net.
  • The Knights Band released their 2019-2020 Student Leadership application packet. If your student is interested, please download at the link above and have them come and see the directors.

Events this week:

  • Monday April 15th:
    • Pre UIL for Concert and Symphonic Bands.
    • NO WIND ENSEMBLE REHEARSAL AFTER SCHOOL!
    • Full Orchestra Rehearsal from 2:45- 4:30.
  • Tuesday April 16th: Full Orchestra UIL
  • Wednesday April 17th:
    • NO Concert Band after school rehearsal
    • Jersey Mikes booster fundraiser night, 4-9 pm.
  • Thursday April 18th:
    • Symphonic Band after school rehearsal 3:30-5 pm.
    • Wind Ensemble Pre UIL at Clear Springs.
  • Friday April 19th: NO REHEARSALS.

Guard Corner:

  • Color Guard tryouts will be on May 20th-23rd.
  • Please spread the word to get more guard students.
  • We are looking to have two guards next year if the numbers permit.
