We were glad to honor all our seniors and be able to share our show one last time in encore after the game on Friday night.

Notes for Parents and Students
Welcome to November. The Knights Band schedule is very limited in November to give our students and their families time back from the hard work from the last couple of months! Band hall closes daily at 2:45 unless there are rehearsals going on for specific groups.
Region Band Test #3 will be held on the week of November 11th. Mr. Moreno will start with the low brass on Monday and finish with all of the brass on Tuesday the 12th. Mr. Zavalla will test the low reeds on November 13th and finish the woodwinds on November 14th.
Region Orchestra and 9th grade Region Auditions are upon us. All students who raised their hand in class have been signed up already. The cost is $15 per audition and the money is due IMMEDIATELY.
Please note: These events are November 18th (orchestra) and 19th (9th grade). They are school nights and the arrival time back for each of these events could be as late as 11 pm. If you feel this is too much for your student, please advise them not to both.
The Wind Ensemble is required to sign up for 1 region event for the year. They may use one of these. Symphonic Band is required one event if their region score is not high enough per student. This will be determined for individuals and not the entire group.
No marching rehearsals this week!
Thursday from 3:30-5:00 pm will be the first rehearsal for the Wind Ensemble students interested in Full Orchestra. Please notify Mr. Zavalla with any questions.
The next payment installment for the Band Fees were Due on Friday November 1st. Please refer to your charms account for more details. The final payment is due December 1st. Please pay all fees so we can make sure the students get the necessary needs for the rest of the year.
No game this week! The playoff game is TENTATIVELY set for Friday November 15th at Veterans Stadium vs. George Ranch. More information will be released once we have more to share, we will notify you how we will handle meals for this game. The games are mandatory as they are performances. Absences for playoffs will follow the normal guidelines in the handbook. Please email Mr. Moreno for any additional questions.
The band directors will be leaving to go and watch the UIL State Marching Contest tomorrow afternoon and will be back on Wednesday. Students are required to set up as normal for class and practice for region for the substitute is there.

Thursday 11/7: 3:30-5:00 FULL Orchestra.

9th grade Region Auditions (for those who signed up), Tuesday, November 19th: Bus leaves at 2:20 pm for those who need transportation. NO CLINIC AND CONCERT!
Concert Band Rehearsals: Thursday November 21st and Monday December 2nd 3:30-4:45 pm.
Winter Concert: December 3rd at CFHS Auditorium at 6:30 pm. (band dress, ugly Winter sweater and pants). Call time 5:30 pm.
Region Band Auditions: Friday December 6th, 7th, 9th. Clinic and Concert on December 13th and 14th
League City Holiday in the Park Parade: December 7th call time TBD.
